Wedding Nightmare

I dreamed a dream last night.
It gave me a terrible fright
As I dreamed it was our wedding night
And our love didn't make it through the night.
I tried with all my might
To make everything right.
But with every scene last night
Nothing went right.
Reality lost its foundation last night
As I dreamed through the night
Finally came the morning light
But this dream from last night
Haunted me even in the light.
